The results of the WSU September 11th Tribute Show are not determined primarily by how much better you are than other competitors, but by how much of a good sport you are and by whether you put your heart fully into entertaining the fans in a civil manner. Therefore:
1. There are no such things as Heels or Tweeners. Upon entering the show, you are only a face, and your only purpose is entertaining the fans(us).
2. If you defy the above statement, either by cheating in a match, talking unecessary trash to your opponent, showing any disrespect towards other wrestlers' talents, or mocking the horrible events of September 11th, 2001, you will automatically lose your match and will NEVER be permitted to participate in the show again.
3. The only TRASH talking I'll allow is trash talk directed towards Osama Bin Laden or the Al Quaeda Terrorist Network.
4. Once civil manners are displayed by wrestler in a match, that particular match will then be determined by roleplay judging.
5. I'm sorry, but hardcore matches are strictly prohibited from this event, as well as backstage attacks (in case I didn't mention those before). The only matches you'll see here are good ol' fashioned 'rasslin matches.
6. Have fun! Don't get discouraged if you lose. Remember, for as long as the WSU is alive, this show will be held every year on September 11th, so you have an oppertunity every year to win, but winning shouldn't matter. You're here to help produce a product the deceased of September 11th would be proud of. Its THEIR show.
Info:
* This event will always be held in New York City, mostly Madison Square Garden
* The President of the WSU books the card every year and may call upon current WSU staff members and/or ewrestling friends he has allowed to help in to help judge winners and write matches. If you want to contribute to the show in a way besides wrestling-wise, just email the WSU President.
* Unless under circumstances where wrestlers of the same faction are competing in the same match, titles are not defended
* The results of the card are emailed from the WSU to ONLY participators in the card. All other viewers must see it from people who get it sent to them.
(The following info is IN CHARACTER as if this was a website for a REAL tribute show, just for something fun to look at :)
* golden medals are given to the winners of their matches, and all other participants are given silver medals (The proceeds go towards the American Red Cross, among other organizations, charities and funds.)
*The President of the WSU, in following tradition, will go into the arena at the start of the card, make his traditional introduction to the September 11th Tribute Show, talking about what its about, the total funds the WSU has raised from the formation of the event, which include cost of awards, entry fees of wrestlers (which is basically simulated as when you sign up for this event, in character, you submit 100 "e-bucks" which are added to the total funds), and ticket money from fans.
There are lots of many OOC and in-character aspects to this show, sometimes blended together. Here are some things I encourage:
*If you see a handler who was once in your fed but is in a different one, and you two are fairly good friends, let the world know. You could have a backstage segment, which I'll allow as long as it has two wrestlers talking about good ol' times and bonding again for this event. (believe me, every once in a while, I'll have either interviews and backstage reunions.)
*Like I said before, you can have interviews with your wrestler stating that he'll/she'll work to entertain the fans, and whatnot.
Whatever fun and "positive" things you have your wrestler do, make sure you do something special! Anything you can think of will greatly contribute to this show. If you want to help write matches or judge roleplays, just email the president
